  • Administration & Finance

    Responsible for finance and budget, personnel, payroll, mail services, property management, and grant activities

  • Sheriff's Office

    Chief law enforcement agency; includes Coroner, Civil Section, Criminal Investigation, DARE, and Detention

  • Public Health Department

    Charged with dentifying, assessing, preventing, and ameliorating conditions of public health importance

  • Clerk & Recorder/Treasurer/Elections Office

    Consists of five Departments: Accounting, Clerk & Recorder, Elections, Property Tax, and Motor Vehicles.

  • Courts & Justice Center

    Clerk of Court, District and Justice Courts/County Attorney/Justice Center

  • Disaster & Emergency Management

    County Emergency Operations, Flood Preparedness, Hazmat-Terrorism Response, Tri-County COAD

  • Public Works

    Roads. Bridges, Signs, Solid Waste, Special Districts & RIDs, Vehicle Maintenance Division,
